Acquired by Microsoft
Today is a very exciting day, as I’m pleased to announce that SLeek has been acquired by Microsoft! This has been a long time coming, and I’m glad it has happened. I am now working for them, and as such, they’ve requested that I make a few changes to SLeek to make it more presentable, […]
Site Update
As mentioned before, SLeek isn’t the only thing I work on. I have a few side projects that receive occasional updates. Whether anyone will find them useful is another matter, but if you’d like to take a look, they’re all listed on the right, under the Projects heading. All freeware or open-source.
And a friendly reminder […]
Maintenance Release Soon
I’m back to working on SLeek again. Right now I’m trying to bring it up to date and fixing a few things. A new release can be expected sometime during the week. :)
And a side note: I am not selling SLeek. If there are any places in-world that sell copies of SLeek for L$, they […]
Upgraded to WordPress 2.3
WordPress 2.3 was released just an hour or two ago, and… the site is upgraded already!
Main reason for the speedy upgrade is the tagging support. I’ve retroactively updated quite a few posts to use both categories and tags, in addition to updating the theme I use.
Categories will be used for commonly recurring post topics, while […]
In before September!
No, there’s not quite another SLeek development update yet. However, I have one or two surprises for when it does get here.
I’ll just say that given how long some bugfixes (some in libsl) are remaining unfixed, I decided to forget about the feature freeze for a little while. I really don’t want SLeek to fade […]
Some changes
As you can see, the site is undergoing a few cosmetic and organizational changes. Most importantly, the SLeek page is moving to a new location. Please make sure any bookmarks and links are updated as soon as possible; the old page will eventually be deleted. :)
Donate!
I’m now accepting PayPal donations. Just click the button on the right sidebar if you’d like to donate.
Of course, donations will never be required to use SLeek or anything else I make, but if you’d like to support SLeek’s development, feel free to donate!
Working on it
Not much of a surprise, but it appears SLeek at least half-broke with Linden Lab’s release of SL 1.18. I’m aware of it. I’m working on it.
Unfortunately, I can’t give much of an estimate as to when another development update will come around. Since 1.18’s release, there have been many rather large changes to the […]
Discussion
Yet again, SLeek appears to be broken from SL updates. I’m aware of this, and I’ll get to it as soon as possible. Ongoing computer problems are sort of pushing back further work on SLeek. Other people have provided their own potentially fixed binaries (see comments in previous post), so those can be used in […]
SLeek broken!
I’ve gotten a few emails in the past few hours or so informing me that SLeek is no longer working with the release of SL 1.15. I’m fully aware of this, and I’m working on it. I don’t have any particular timeframe as to when the next version will be completed, but I do realize […]
